Since I have a new layout for my blog, a new banner is surely a must to compliment the new chilling look of this blog :p .. Well, the designer of this new banner isn't so satisfied with the design or maybe the layout of the banner but I'm gonna leave that to him. As for me, it compliments the new theme very well indeed.

I bought two comics of Betty and Veronica and decided not just to read them over a few days or nights but to finish them in two months. Reading has always been my hobby but I just have too many interests lately and I need to be fair and square in dividing my spare times for all of them. And I guess sleeping is really taking too much of my spare times...ohh how I love sleep in this lovely weather. Rain...rain, don't go away please. So much about fair and square.
Used to love reading magazines. Just name some of the must-read-magazines at present, be it Seventeen or Women's Weekly, these were my favorites back to those days. As the contents change, my conditioned stimulus was no longer in these magazines. Everything seems to be about fashion now, I just don't get it. Actually I do get it, everybody is so hyped-up about how to dress like the celebrities but why does every single content in the magazine always talk about fashion.
First is Seventeen and then its Women's Weekly, fashion - fashion - fashion. From make-up, clothing to hairstyles. Its all FASHION. Where were all the inspirational true life stories? I want them back. I kept on buying Seventeen because I really enjoyed reading inspirational stories that were based on true life events. This type of stories inspires me to be grateful on what I have and to realize that there are more unfortunate people out there who have been through things that we could never think of.
There is one movie that I watched in Hallmark, its about a girl who worked her ass off days and nights to work and study at the same time. With no parents by her side, she had to be tougher than anyone in the world to get what she always wanted, which is Harvard. And she did. This kind of story inspires me to realize that how much I have been blessed to have my parents and how many opportunities have knocked on my door. I have been given choices in this life while somebody out there who has no choice at all.
I have been blessed. So do all of us. Life has not always been fair nor that it has been easy to any of us but yes, we are blessed, just to be alive.
